The Composite Horse Shoe is made up of a Urethane outer shoe with a partial internal Steel plate, the composite shoe supports the hoof while allowing the foot to flex and grow naturally during use, un-incumbered.

The Urethane make up of the shoe absorbs the shock of constant pounding that horse hooves take which translates up to joints and tendons, causing breaking down over time. We have seen our older race horses go from discomfort in movement to moving with ease in changing from solid steel to composite shoes!! For us the decision had never been so ….clear!!
